Collaboration between “Men's PREPPY” and SABFA

SABFA organized event appearances and men's makeup seminars that stemmed from a year-long Men's PREPPY series.

Men's PREPPY,” a beauty trade magazine published by Heritage Corporation, featured a one-year series on men's makeup [Men's Makeup A to Z] by Tadashi Harada, Jun Nakamura, and Terumasa Shinjo from the November 2023 to October 2024 issues (see here for details). This serialization led to seminars and events on men's makeup in collaboration with Shiseido SABFA and “Men's PREPPY,” and the initiative is growing.

1_Hosted by “Men's PREPPY”. Appearance at “Beauty Men's Week”, a real event for the general public.

Harada, Nakamura, and Shinjo were in charge of hair and makeup demonstrations with models and talks on men's beauty. The event, held at SABFA, was well received, filling the two-hour slot.

1st “Men's Makeup Basic Theory” by Jun Nakamura

2_SABFA sponsored “SABFA Men's Makeup Seminar Practical” for professional beauty technicians.

Harada, Nakamura, and Shinjo served as instructors for the “SABFA Men's Makeup Seminar: Practical Application (3 sessions),” a seminar for professional beauty technicians, who are the main audience of “Men's PREPPY. This seminar used mainly “SHISEIDO MEN” and “Inui” as teaching materials. Participants, who are beauty professionals, also deepened their learning.
