Noriko Okubo

Okubo Noriko had been in charge of makeup in fashion magazines and being many lead makeup artists of Paris and Tokyo fashion shows. She was stationed in Paris from 1993 to 1999 and became interested and attained an in-depth knowledge of the colors for beauty in Japan and Europe. She is the most trusted makeup artist by Serge Lutens (creative director of Shiseido Les Salon Palais Royal and brand Serge Lutens) and working with him for over 20 years.

In 2010, she had published Bi-make magic (Beauty makeup magic) a how-to beauty book to become a beautiful lady and introducing her philosophy of makeup in her European touch.
Her expertise goes beyond in the beauty category. As an expert of coloring, she also gives color advice to the uniforms for medical staffs. She specializes in makeups having trends with elegant and mode.

In the company Shiseido, she was appointed as beauty director of Clé de Peau BEAUTÉ and was in charge of all activities from product planning to advertisings and commercial films makeups. Presently she is vice-principal of Shiseido Beauty Academy and teaching hair and makeup for future artists. She also has the title of Certification Examination Education Officer for Japan beauty method association.

She has three principles in her works, which are: to make a wonderful feeling to people through the beautiful visuals, to make wishes come true to those who want to be beautiful and, to incubate more beauty artists. She wants to be an artist; which ideas will continue to flow out even she gets old.
