A new color has debuted for "wig+," a medical wig supervised by Shiseido Hair & Makeup Artist Yoshiko Jinguji, driven by her dedication to contributing to solutions for social issues.
In addition to the existing natural black shade, [wig+ ORIGIN], a new white-blonde shade, [wig+ SPICE], was launched in May 2026. This new color is designed for everyone to enjoy, transcending both age and gender.

With this shared vision, "wig+" was co-developed as a synthetic-fiber medical wig through a collaborative effort between the NPO JHD&C, Shiseido Co., Ltd., and Aderans Co., Ltd. Since its launch in November 2022, it has been highly acclaimed alongside video tutorials featuring Jinguji’s specialized wig-cutting techniques and style arrangements.

"I developed this white-blonde shade with the desire to offer a hair color that can be enjoyed by a diverse range of people, regardless of gender or age. We focused on a skin-complementing tone that suppresses the artificial shine and brassiness often characteristic of wigs, while keeping the roots darker to achieve a natural finish that mimics human hair.
For the photoshoot, I customized the cuts to suit each model. I envisioned a visual concept with a simple, modern worldview to showcase medical wigs in a way that is truly stylish and sophisticated."
