◇About the LAVENDER RING◇
Shiseido and other companies and organizations, administrations, medical institutions, patient organizations, and others are working together to create a society where people can live with a smile even when they have cancer.
Towards this aim, Shiseido primarily supports the project MAKEUP & PHOTOS WITH SMILES, which contributes to the reintegration of cancer patients into society through the power of makeup.
Yoshiko Jinguji and Keiko Sunakawa participated in the event "LAVENDER RING MAKEUP & PHOTOS WITH SMILES."

“LAVENDER RING MAKEUP & PHOTOS WITH SMILES” was held in Aichi (at the Aichi Cancer Center) on June 24th and in Osaka (at the Osaka International Cancer Center) on June 29th, with participation from Shiseido top hair & makeup artist Jinguji and hair & makeup artist Sunakawa.
Under this project, cancer patients get a makeover from a professional hair & makeup artist and then a photographer takes pictures of their smiling faces. The participants write down "what they are most passionate about" and add it to the poster made at the event. This activity has brought many smiles to cancer patients.
Jinguji and Sunakawa were in charge of hair and makeup for the photoshoots, using their professional hair & makeup skills to bring out the participants’ full potential.
