Issued today! ”100 Years of Japanese Makeup” – A Visual Guide Tracing the Evolution of Makeup from Taisho Romanticism to Reiwa-Gyaru Style
Since 1987, the Shiseido Beauty Creation Center has conducted beauty trend research to explore current and future trends in makeup and hair. The results of this research have been used to release the information “The Transition of Japanese Women’s Makeup.” In addition to illustrated visuals of women in each decade, this book is a new volume that includes explanations of makeup techniques by hair and makeup artists and the historical background that influenced them.
