“The collection was titled ‘UTAKATA’ in order to link it with the Swiss production of the opera ‘Idomeneo,’ for which Yuima is the costume designer.

He created a new form of couture by combining fragile and delicate materials with armor and weaponry, recalling the Trojan War that took place during the era of the Minoan civilization on the Mediterranean island of Crete, the setting of the story.

The music for the show was the Japanese children's song "Akatonbo" (Red Dragonflies). The models walked slowly to the tune of the gentle live vocals, building to an impressive finale as dancers walked through circles of red ink poured onto the runway and turned its white surface bright red.”(Kera)
