On Saturday, October 12, 2024, the kimono fashion show “2024 TOKYO KIMONO COLLECTION” was held at Muromachi Mitsui Hall in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, with Yumiko Kamada as the overall hair and makeup chief.
Launched in 2013, the TOKYO KIMONO COLLECTION is an event that showcases “kimono,” one of the roots of the Japanese people, as the latest fashion.
This year, “PLAYFUL JAPAN” byJOTARO SAITO designed by Jotaro Saito and “KIMONO SHOW” by Tonami Orimono were presented.

Jotaro Saito held a special “PLAYFUL JAPAN” exhibition featuring items from his own Jotaro Saito back collection, which are not usually shown to the public.
As a part of the exhibition, Jotaro Saito presented his own Jotaro Saito “PLAYFUL JAPAN” collection show.

Tonami Orimono「KIMONO SHOW」
Tonami Orimono, founded in 1919, is one of the few remaining obi manufacturers in Nishijin, Kyoto. Following last year, the company presented “KIMONO SHOW” at TOKYO KIMONO COLLECTION again this year.
