On April 17, 2026, the Shiseido Beauty Creation Center co-hosted an experiential DE&I promotion event titled "Discover New Me! How to Find a 'New You' Starting with Your Hair." The event was held at the Uvance Innovation Studio (Fujitsu) in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, in collaboration with the NPO Alopecia Style Project JAPAN (ASPJ), Fujitsu Limited (Fujitsu), and View BE Co., Ltd.
Shiseido Hair & Makeup Artist Yoshiko Jinguji, who is deeply dedicated to appearance care (outer-appearance support) activities, participated in the project.

She adapted proposals aimed at deepening the understanding of the importance of appearance care and social sector initiatives into a format tailored for corporate audiences. Proposing wigs and hair care not merely as "tools for concealment" but as "tools to expand one's options," she led wig demonstrations, fitting sessions, and participated as a panelist in the talk sessions.
Jinguji provided lectures on wig fitting using medical wigs that she personally helped develop, and supported participants as they tried them on. During the talk session, she highlighted the potential and convenience of wigs as a viable option for "discovering a new version of oneself."
In the post-event survey, over 85% of participants responded that the experience "deepened their understanding." The event received highly positive feedback, with participants noting, "I joined purely out of curiosity, but I am incredibly glad I attended," and "The hands-on experience of actually touching and trying the products significantly deepened my understanding."
The Shiseido Beauty Creation Center, led by Jinguji, will continue to actively participate in initiatives that promote DE&I and communicate the vital importance of appearance care.
