JennyFax Fall/Winter 2026 "Family Issue"

JennyFax’s this season’s collection was presented in a space where models—evoking a parent-and-child relationship—interacted by playing cards and conversing. The atmosphere constructed was deeply everyday, yet subtly surreal.
The makeup concept was "to look as though it were applied by someone unskilled in makeup." By intentionally incorporating imperfection and asymmetry, the look shifted away from conventional, polished beauty, focusing instead on introducing an intriguing sense of visual disruption.

Makeup Features

•Eye Makeup: To create an unnatural effect, mascara was heavily layered, and false eyelashes with intentionally emphasized clumps were applied. Mascara smudges on the eyelids were purposefully left uncorrected to highlight an unpracticed eye look.
•Lip Makeup: Multiple variations were crafted to evoke a sense of technical amateurism. Techniques included creating a dry, peeling texture, intentionally bleeding the color past the lip contours, and leaving the center worn away.
•Base Makeup: While retaining the texture of natural skin, coverage was kept minimal—leaving under-eye circles slightly visible. A shine-controlling primer and loose powder were used to achieve a realistic, self-applied finish.
•Color Choice: Furthermore, colors that were intentionally "unflattering" were selected for each model to heighten the sense of visual incongruity.

In addition to JennyFax, Shindo also led the beauty direction for several other brands during this Paris season, serving as the Lead Hair Stylist for vautrait and zomer, and as the Lead Makeup Artist for grounds.
