At Expo 2025, which opened on April 13, 2025, the hair and makeup team from the Shiseido Beauty Creation Center has provided technical support in various forms.

Shiseido's cooperation in hair and makeup for EXPO2025: Behind the Scenes

For the opening ceremony held on April 12, Hirofumi Kera served as the overall hair and makeup director for the performance programs "Heartbeat," "Festival," and "Physical Twin Symphony." A team of 28 Shiseido hair & makeup artists, along with graduates from SABFA and instructors from the Shiseido Beauty Academy, worked together to handle all the hair and makeup for the performers.

The opening program "Physical Twin Symphony," which took place from April 13 to 20, showcased the beginning of the Osaka Kansai Expo. Hirofumi Kera again served as the overall hair and makeup director, with Shiseido hair & makeup artists and SABFA graduates responsible for the hair and makeup of performers.

Additionally, at the Signature Pavilion "Dialogue Theater - Sign of Life," produced by filmmaker Naomi Kawase and sponsored by Shiseido as a silver partner, Shiseido hair & makeup artists developed makeup to match the uniforms worn by the attendant staff and provided makeup training for them.
